To restore systems with circulation and boiler noise problems (caused by sludge and corrosion deposits) to optimum operation. Power flushing effectively removes these deposits and the problems that they cause.
How Does It Work?
The Clearflow CF90 Quantum power flushing pump is simply connected into the heating system, either across standard circulation pump couplings, across the tails of one radiator, or wherever most practicable.
The powerful flow, combined with the correct dilution of appropriate non harmful chemicals and the instantaneous flow reverser device, will dislodge and mobilise deposits and corrosion which resist traditional system cleaning methods.
Once the corrosion and sludge deposits have been loosened and mobilised they will be disposed of via the additional attached magnetic filtration unit ( filtrates magnetite sludge) , fresh clean water is forced through the heating system, pushing the contaminated water out through a full bore dump valve to waste. During the process, radiators are individually flushed, without removing or disconnecting them from the system, by directing the full output of the pump through each radiator separately.
At the end of the flushing process, the system contains fresh clean water, scale and corrosion inhibitor is added giving long term protection to heating system. Reinstatement of the system to normal operation takes only a few minutes.
Power flushing is the most effective method of cleansing a central heating system. A power flush is recommended as the optimum method of restoring system efficiency, particularly on an existing system. A power flush combined with an effective cleanser and administered correctly will remove up to 95% of system sludge and scale. Please Note: heating systems that are not cleaned prior to a new boiler installation may be at risk of particles blocking the heat exchanger and possibly invalidating the warranty.
